👤 Who We Are

Mindful Rhythm is a personal wellness app that helps you track intermittent fasting, mindful moments, and daily habits. The app is available at mindful-rhythm.com.

📦 What Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the service:

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo, provided by Google when you sign in via Google OAuth.
• Fasting data — start and end times of your fasts, stages reached, and fasting duration logs.
• Moment state data — time spent in each moment state (Purposeful, Wasteful, Nourishing, Training, Recovering) throughout the day.
• Habit data — habit names, completion status, streaks, and break logs including optional reasons.
• App preferences — your theme preference (dark/light mode) and other local settings.

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, or any health metrics beyond what you manually log in the app.

🔐 How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform. All data is associated with your user account and protected by row-level security — meaning only you can access your own data.

Data is also cached locally in your browser's localStorage for offline access. This local data stays on your device and is only synced to the server when you are signed in.

🔑 Google Sign-In

We use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to any other Google services.

Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

🚫 What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not use your wellness data to train AI or machine learning models.
• We do not send marketing emails (beyond optional product updates you opt into).
• We do not track you across other websites or apps.

🍪 Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to save your preferences and cache your app data for offline use. This is essential for the app to function. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Supabase uses a session token stored in localStorage to keep you signed in across page loads. This token expires automatically and is cleared when you sign out.

🗑️ Deleting Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To request deletion:

• Sign in to Mindful Rhythm and use the account settings to delete your account, or
• Contact us directly at the email below and we will delete your data within 7 days.

Upon deletion, all your fasting logs, habit data, and moment records will be permanently removed from our servers.

👶 Children's Privacy

Mindful Rhythm is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
